Many of us have much be thankful for. And if you’re reading this, good organic food is likely high on your list (even in an economy dominated by consumer spending on “things”).
There’s one profession none of us can live without: farmers. And I am endlessly thankful for the dedication and hard work they put in to feed us.
Thanksgiving is a good time to remember how lucky we are to have access to healthy food. And to remember that many of our neighbors, both in this country and overseas, are not as fortunate.
I hope you will consider donating to organizations dedicated to serving those struggling to feed themselves and their families or who find themselves in an emergency without food.
